Sheperd Fairey's Copyright Law

The lawsuit referring to Sheperd Fairey is sort of too much. I believe that he should not of been sued for this because in my opinion, he did change the photo enough. Also, it could of easily been settled with him assigning credit to the photographer who took that photo. But still, I believe the punishment for his "crime" was more than it should've been. On the other hand, I do believe that it was stupid for Fairey to just take a photo from the internet and changing it to make it his without looking into the background of the photo he took.

The Cloud vs Ownership

There are many pros and cons to the cloud-based media/software/etc but, in my opinion, their are about the same amount of each. The pros of this technology is that you do not have to worry about your product getting lost or broken. You'll also be able to organize all of your personal favorite books or movies easily. A con of this is that your information will be distributed to third parties. You can argue that this isn't a con but if you think about it in the way that they are stealing your information and making a profit out of it without you receiving a cut. Doesn't that sound unfair? I believe that if your information is gonna be distriputed to other parties than you should either.
1. Grant permission to the party to do so
or
2. Receive money for the information distriputed.
But in my opinion, your information should only be distributed if you gave permission for so.

The physical property that I can see working with this technology is: Movies, books, cooking recipes, taxes, bills, legal documents, and other types of material items.

Stelarc Artwork Response

The way that Stelarc treats the human body through his artwork is interesting. Not really interesting in a good way but still interesting. I do not find Stelarc's artwork disturbing but rather fascinating, in a creepy way. Not only did he push his body past his limit but he also conquered the common thought of "pain". Although, he does say he experiences pain throughout his hangings, he has trained his body or rather, the mental stability of himself to ignore that pain.
I do believe that our body needs to be evolved but not manually. We should let it evolve over time because if we were to do it manually I fear that something is going to go wrong.
